The Sphinx is a large, ancient statue located on the Giza Plateau in Egypt, near the Pyramids of Giza. The statue stands 20 meters tall and 73 meters long, making it one of the largest and oldest statues in the world. Its construction dates back to the 4th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, around 2500 BC.
